Best USB/XLR mics for streaming and podcasts
Three FIFINE dynamic mics from our catalog — USB now, XLR later — compared by kit and features.

We earn a commission when you buy through our links to partner stores. It doesn't change your price. SAR prices are approximate (1 USD = 3.75 SAR). The final price is the one on the seller's page. How this works
Dynamic cardioid mics reject more room noise than many condensers, which helps in untreated rooms. All three FIFINE models on Volt Aisle offer USB-C and XLR, so you can start on a laptop and move to an interface later. We compared connection, frequency response, max SPL and what is in the box from FIFINE's pages. We do not record-test mics.

Questions
- USB or XLR — which do I use first?
- All three support both. Use USB-C into a laptop to start; move the same mic to an XLR interface later without buying a new capsule.
- Dynamic vs condenser for a bedroom?
- FIFINE lists these as dynamic cardioid. Dynamic mics generally pick up less of the room than condensers, which helps when the space is not treated. That is a category trait, not a lab result from us.
